The Teachers Disability Benefits Plan provides benefits based on the formula incorporating years of service and average earnings when disability continues beyond 60 days. To be eligible a teacher must have 10 years of eligibility service, 3 years of which are in the 5 years immediately preceeding the date on which the disability occurred.
